How it all started
It all started when Zach was about 10 years old he got his first goats and started milking them & showing shortly after. We have been breeding, raising and showing registered dairy goats for over 20 years & a few years ago we decided to try to start selling our extra milk for pet food and while that is still an important part of our business we decided to start making & selling goat milk soaps for the holidays in 2021& 2022 then in spring of 2023 we started doing a farmers market, in Chestertown,MD every Saturday & the business grew to us wanting to offer our products online to our customers who live further away. We also breed a heritage breed of fine wool sheep called Romeldale/Cvm, we use there fleeces for our yarns and also sell our fleeces from our flock.
We also breed, raise and show rabbits, we have multiple breeds. We have French Angoras, Satins, New Zealands, Champagne D Argents & Velveteen Lops.
In addition to have the goats, sheep,& rabbits we also run a flock of chickens with an array of egg colors & keep about 10 bee hives to supply our local farmer's market customers with fresh eggs & honey and milk from our farm.
